Size Guide

How belt sizing works

Your belt size is the length in inches from where the leather begins at the base of the buckle to the middle hole. This is the belt's true size.

This is different from your trouser waist size. Because a belt sits over trousers and buckles through a hole rather than right at the edge of the leather, belt size typically runs about 2 inches larger than your waist size. As a guide: a 32" waist takes a 34" belt.

If you already own a belt that fits well, measure it the same way: buckle base to the hole you use most, and choose that size.

Full-grain cowhide and solid brass, built to age for a lifetime — crafted the old way

01

Full-Grain Cowhide

Cut from a single, uninterrupted piece of thick cowhide leather. Full-grain and unfinished, chosen for natural strength rather than appearance. It softens, darkens, and develops a rich patina with wear.

02

Solid Brass Buckle

Unplated solid brass, chosen for strength and how it ages. Left untreated, it darkens and develops a natural patina alongside the leather, rather than wearing through to a duller metal underneath.

Natural Character

No two hides are identical. Subtle marks, grain variation, and natural texture are part of genuine full-grain leather, not flaws. Each belt develops its own character over time, shaped by how it's actually worn.

Full-grain cowhide is the strongest, most durable form of leather available, and the only kind that genuinely improves with age. Unlike corrected-grain leather, which is sanded smooth and refinished to hide imperfections, full-grain leather is used as it comes from the hide, natural marks and all.

This is deliberate. A belt that looks the same after a year of wear hasn't really been worn. Ours are built to look better with time, not despite it. Curious about the materials? Read our guide to full-grain cowhide and solid brass.
